As a result, you may be a member of a pending class action lawsuit. Please see the other side for more information about your rights.

Nature of the Lawsuit: George Custer sued Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. claiming that it charged him and others illegal fees for paying his mortgage payment by phone. Dovenmuehle denies that it did anything wrong. The Court has not decided who is right.

Am I A Class Member? If you have a residential mortgage loan securing a property in North Carolina, serviced or subserviced by Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc., and were charged one or more convenience fees when paying by phone between April 10, 2020, and January 13, 2026, You may be a class member.

Your Options: You can either (1) remain a Class member or (2) you can exclude yourself (“opt-out”). If you remain a Class member, you do not need to do anything, and you will be bound by the results of the lawsuit.
